 By Mohammed al-Kibsi

Yemen’s vice president Abdu Raboo Mansour Hadi and US ambassador Gerald Feierstein  reviewed the latest developments in Yemen and the progress achieved in implementing the GCC deal and UNSC resolution 2014.

This came in a meeting brought together Vice President Hadi and US ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein on Sunday.

Saba news agency reported that during the meeting, the Vice President stressed the importance of all parties and political powers to commit to the reconciliation's rules and not to escalate or carry out any activities that may conflict with the political settlement brokered by GCC and backed by the Security Council resolution 2014 that was based on the GCC’s terms.

The US ambassador said that the US administration has been closely following the progress of the political settlement in Yemen, stressing that the USA and the international community are keen on helping Yemen to overcome the crisis and maintain its security, stability and unity.
