The so called the southern national resistance in south Yemen ( MAWJ) announced forming a preparatory committee from the leaderships of the southern movement so as to contribute in forming the state of Islamic Arab South headed by Dr Awadh al-Alqami.
The3 committee said it will contain all the revolutionary youth leaders and Mujahidin from all the sites of the south that believe in the justice of Islam and justice of the Southern Issue calling on all of these leaderships to contribute in the preparatory committee.
In its statement issued on November 22, the committee said that the formation of the Arab Islamic Sothern state will be based on the rules of the Islamic Sharia and on the holy book and Sunnah.

Dr Awadh al-Alqami chairman
Lawyer Nabil al-Amoudi first vice and spokesperson
Ali Salem Ben Othaimin Vice chairman for Aden affairs
Abdullah Mohammed al-Wahshi vice chairman for Lahj affairs
Sheikh Hasan Jubran vice chairman for Abyan affairs
Wajdi al-Shabi vice chairman for communicating with other factions and with the youth
The statement said that the names of the leaders in the other provinces will be announced later
