Saleh chairs joint meeting of political, security leaders

SANA'A, Nov. 21 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh chaired Monday in Sana'a a joint meeting of the political, military, security and political organizations leaders.

The meeting reviewed the security situation in the country in addition to several issues emerged from the ongoing crisis.

A report of Defense Ministry was also read during the meeting dealing with the repeated attacks by the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) on the armed forces and security camps.

The report focused on the recent attack on the 63 infantry brigade camp in Bait Dehrah, pointing that such attacks aim to thwart the Gulf initiative and the UN Security Council resolution 2014.

The meeting stressed the significance of the security bodies to continue to carry out their security tasks to maintain security and stability and encounter the saboteurs and outlaws attempting to divide the country, disturb public order and increase the people's suffering.
