Tensions erupted in Sana’a

Explosions were heard in many parts of Sana’a after midnight Sana’a local time. Clashes were reported erupted in the neighborhoods near to Sana’a University after defected army and security forces were deployed on the streets once again. Also eyewitnesses said that tribal militias affiliated to Sheikh al-Ahmar confronted with the security forces in AL-Hasabah neighborhood and other parts of northern Sana’a.
Schools in the hot spots were evacuated and forces of defected army backed by militia of Islah party and tribesmen of shikh al-Ahmar were reported changed them into military sites before the eruption of tensions.
Vice president Abdu Raboo Mansour Hadi had announced that a deal for peaceful transition of power might be signed with the opposition parties in the coming few days.
No immediate reports about casualties yet.
