After Yemeni opposition announced escalation against Yemeni political regime last week, they called on Sunday the young protestors in Sana'a for jihad as a holy act to change the corrupted regime in Yemen. That call led to violent confrontations between the security forces and protesters . 26 protestor killed and more than 90 were injured . Security source said to YemenOnline that the protestors attacked the power station in Sana'a and soldiers using Molotov cocktails, which led to the burning of station, then the soldiers open fires .
Number of demonstrators who refused to participate in the confrontations said To YemenOnline that the Islamic Party was inciting protesters to violence against soldiers.
