Al-Qaeda clashes Yemen army in two towns

The commander of the 25th mechanical Brigade Major-General Mohammed al-Somali said that over 80 Yemeni soldiers were killed and 600 others wounded in the battles with al-Qaeda militants for liberating ZInjubar city, the capital of Abyan province.
Al-Sawmali announced this in his remark following the forces of the southern region could break besiege imposed against him and his brigade by al-Qaeda militants that lasted over 4 months. 
A leader in al Qaeda, said that their withdrawal from the city of Zinjubar after taking control of it since 4 months, came as a result of repeated attacks by the U.S. Airways which left dozens dead and wounded.
The source said that the Insar al-Sharia militants withdrew from Zinjubat to Ja’ar town, while local sources said that al-Qaeda militants were seen transferring their forces from Zinjuar to Hattat mount near Ja’ar.  Ja’ar is the stronghold of al-Qaeda in Abyan.
The source told newsyemen.net that they did not know exactly how many of their leader were killed in the battles of Zinjubar.
He said that there will be surprises in the coming days, promising to achieve victories against what he called soldiers and hordes of tyrants.

Major-General Mohammed Alsomali, said that the military pursues limited pockets of the militants, but the real battle is to cleanse the city of Ja’ar.
