We have heard optimistic talks from all sides, US Ambassador to Yemen

Vice President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi and US ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein reviewed the latest developments of Yemen crisis on Tuesday.

The Vice President acquainted the US diplomat with the nature of the developments, topped by military tension manifestation, said Saba news agency.

The mediation committee is committed to eliminate all tension manifestations and return soldiers to their camps to pave the way for discussing an executive mechanism to implement the Gulf initiative and allowing citizens to move safely, Hadi said.

He touched on the communication and meetings that were held to realize such purposes.

The US ambassador briefed the Vice President on the outcomes of his communication with the related sides.
"We have heard optimistic talks from all sides", Feierstein said, stressing that the positive efforts should be intensified to come back to the democratic and peaceful course for the security and stability of Yemen, which is a strategic hub at the regional and international levels.
He pointed to the significance of the sparing no effort to make an agreement on an executive mechanism to carry out the Gulf initiative.
