The French Ambassador Joseph Silva was back to after reports have alleged that he left Yemen in rejection of harassment.
The French embassy in Yemen said on Saturday ambassador had returned to his job.
In a statement, the embassy said the ambassador returned to his work on September 6 after he had completed his vacation in his country and participated in the annual meeting of the French ambassadors in Paris.
Some news agencies had reported that Silva had been ordered to leave Yemen due to his country’s position supporting the seven-month revolution seeking the ouster of the regime, but later the French Foreign Ministry said the ambassador left Yemen willingly.
